Million Dollar Crocodile is a 2012 Chinese beast film coordinated by Lin Lisheng. The film stars Barbie Shu, Guo Tao, Lam Suet and is about a gathering of individuals looking for a crocodile that has gulped a million yuan.
The film was discharged on June 8, 2012 and is China's first creature motion picture.
The film recounts the account of an eight meter long crocodile on the frenzy in Hangzhou. Xiao gets to know Amao, a 36-foot crocodile, who lives on his dad's crocodile haven. Before long his dad is compelled to pitch the crocodiles to a criminal who intends to utilize them for expensive dinners. The story starts as the crocodile is discharged, swallows a fortune won by a neighborhood lady who powers the police to chase it, and starts to threaten the nearby town.
Million Dollar Crocodile was appeared as a "work-in-advance" print at Marché du Film at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2012. Australian deals firm Odin's Eye Entertainment grabbed the rights to Million Dollar Crocodile. The film was discharged in China on June 8, 2012. Million Dollar Crocodile will be the opening film at the 36th Montreal World Film Festival.
